About the author: Cathy Gwynn has a B.S. degree in advertising and a M.A. degree in mass communication from the University of Florida. She and Dennis Gwynn were married in 1994, and their only child, Chase, was born in 1999. In 2001, Dennis was killed in a car accident, leaving Cathy a thirty-five year old widow with a two-year old son. She now has her own consulting business-Gwynn Market Research and Planning-and resides with her son in Apopka, Florida.
